Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital technologies have profoundly impacted various sectors, including healthcare. Over the past two decades, biology has evolved into a technical discipline, owing to significant advancements in bioscience. Today, medical practitioners must integrate technology not only within their field but across disciplines. Dr. Deshpande emphasized the imperative need for extensive work in medicine and data science within India.
Dr. Shikarpur remarked, “Digital Technology is advancing rapidly. The widespread adoption of digital technology and artificial intelligence has significantly enhanced the quality of medical care. This book stands as a tribute to the relentless efforts of COVID warriors. It underscores the necessity to educate all segments of society on Digital Healthcare practices. In India, the imbalance between patients and doctors is stark, and technology can bridge this gap by offering affordable healthcare, even in remote regions and among marginalized communities.”
Dr. Bhondve added, “The medical field has witnessed remarkable progress over the last three to four decades. This book aims to elucidate to readers the practical applications of digital technology and artificial intelligence in healthcare.”
