Rashingkar’s Book on Sam Walton Released

In collaboration with Saket Publishing and RMB Pune Business Circle, a Marathi book Walmartcha Shillpkar Sam Walton ( ‘Walmart’s Architect Sam Walton’) by Dr. Sudhir Rashingkar was released recently, with esteemed management guru Dr. Mr. G. Bapat speaking at the event. The program, held at the MCCIA Hall, was attended by various dignitaries including the author, Dr. Sudhir Rashingkar, Senior journalist  Abhay Vaidya, and Director of Saket Publishing Pratima Bhand. This is the 53rd book of Dr Rashingkar.

During his speech, Dr. Mr. G. Bapat emphasized the essential qualities required for success in business, such as consistency, perseverance, hard work, and the willingness to make sacrifices. He believed that hardship is irreplaceable when it comes to achieving success in business. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of diligence and smart work, stating that a unique concept, fueled by creativity, can pave the way for a successful business venture. He referred to  Sam Walton, who at the age of 10, determined his aspiration to work globally in the retail sector.

Dr. Mr. G. Bapat acknowledged Sam Walton’s dedication to his business and his commendable attitude of sharing profits with his colleagues, which played a significant role in his success. He lauded Sam Walton’s exceptional communication skills and networking abilities, which set a precedent in the business world. Dr.. Bapat encouraged Indians, particularly those from the Marathi community, to adopt these qualities and swim against the current, viewing problems as opportunities.

During the event, Senior Journalist Abhay Vaidya shared his insights, while the author, Dr. Sudhir Rashingkar, discussed the motivations behind writing the book. Pratima Bhand, the Director of Saket Publications, expressed their publishing philosophy. Dilip Kumbojkar moderated the program, and Sameer Mohile of RMB Pune Business Circle delivered the vote of thanks.
