Kemppi India Pvt Ltd. based out of Finland, is strengthening its foothold in the Indian welding market by opening its new facility in Ingale Industrial Park, Pune, India. Located in West India, Pune is a big IT hub and the most important automobile and manufacturing hub in India.
Kemppi has been running its business in India since the last 11 years. Kemppi’s strategic decision to move from Chennai to Pune enables Kemppi to grow the business in India in the coming years. The new facility and its advanced demo area invites customers to welding training sessions and demos. All brands of Kemppi are well displayed in the show room.
The team is excited about the new location and business opportunities in Pune. The new facility is the base for all sales activities in India, also including Marketing, Warehouse, Technical support and After Sales service teams.
“The new facility, spread over approximately 3,000 square meters, includes a show room with products all brands of Kemppi which are on display. Kemppi has over 800 employees worldwide and has started with 28 employees in Pune and soon to grow. We are also keen on a Robotic Centre in Pune and will further invest in that soon. Our turnover last year i.e. in 2021 was Euros 178 million.
