As I look back on TechEra’s journey, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. On this 3rd of October, we mark not one but three milestones that are deeply significant to our story — seven years of TechEra Engineering, one year of being listed on the National Stock Exchange, and the commissioning of our new Ken 5-Axis Machining Centre.
Each of these achievements is more than just a corporate landmark. They represent our team’s collective perseverance, the trust of our investors, the support of our customers, and the unwavering belief of those who stood by a dream that began in a small, modest office with big ambitions.
The Dream That Took Flight
I was born into a humble family — my father, a schoolmaster, taught me that discipline and integrity matter more than wealth. Those lessons became my foundation. Even with limited means, I was driven by an unshakable desire to create something meaningful — an enterprise that would not only bring personal fulfillment but also contribute to India’s technological progress.
In 1998, with very little capital but immense conviction, I founded Techcellency. It started with a revenue of merely ₹3.5 lakhs. The early days were challenging, yet they were the crucible in which our values of reliability, innovation, and commitment were forged. Over the years, through persistence and partnerships — particularly with the South African firm Jendamark — Techcellency evolved into Jendamark Techcellency, a company employing over 200 people with revenues exceeding ₹52 crores.
That chapter was rewarding, but in 2018, I felt a strong calling to begin anew — to build something that would redefine Indian manufacturing for the Aerospace and Defence sectors. And thus, TechEra Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd. was born — co-founded with my son, Meet Desai, a young visionary who brought fresh energy and technical insight into our journey.

From the very beginning, TechEra was driven by one simple philosophy — Reliable. Fast.
Reliability represents our promise of quality and precision. Speed signifies our agility in responding to the dynamic needs of our clients in the Aerospace and Defence sector.
In our very first year, we achieved a revenue of ₹15 crores — a testament to the market’s confidence in our capabilities and our team’s dedication. Today, seven years later, we stand proud as a publicly listed company, a preferred manufacturing partner for Aerospace and Defence tooling, and a name synonymous with excellence in automation and engineering innovation.
Our journey has been marked by milestones — each a reflection of the passion and hard work of the people who make TechEra what it is today. The commissioning of our third world-class 5-Axis Machining Centre — the Ken 5-Axis — is not merely an addition to our infrastructure; it is a symbol of our relentless pursuit of precision, speed, and reliability. With three 5-Axis machines now operational, we are equipped to deliver complex aerospace tooling solutions that meet global standards.
