Pride Group of Hotels on Expansion Spree

Plans to expand footprints to 50 hotels nationally by the end of 2022.

Pride Group of Hotels, one of the fastest-growing hotel chains in India recently announced that it would expand its portfolio to 50 hotels by 2022. The group presently has a presence in around 44 great locations and boasts of over 4.400 keys. Once the new openings are complete Pride Hotels will have 50 properties and over 5000 keys offering unique guest experiences across various geographical regions. It also plans to add 72 rooms and 35 rooms at its five-star properties in Nagpur and Pune respectively.

Announcing the development, S.P. Jain, Chairman & Managing Director, Pride Hotels Limited, said, “We would be expanding our footprints to 50 hotels nationally by the end of 2022. The focus will be on an asset-light model for our expansion with a major slice of the portfolio managed directly by us. Most of these upcoming properties will be located in popular tourism & pilgrimage circuits primarily in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Over the years we have significantly adapted to a new hospitality normal while also pursuing our growth plans. Presently we are treading cautiously on capital expenditure. However, once the market reaches the pre-pandemic level we will come back to expansion mode for our flagship properties”.

also forayed into the premium service apartment space with the launch of its new brand ‘Pride Suites’. The company has now signed an agreement to launch its first property in Gurugram under the brand ‘Pride Suites’. In May 2022 we launched ‘Pride Biznotel’ in the renowned Lion den at Gujarat’s Sasan Gir National Park, its13th property in the State of Gujarat”, says Atul Upadhyay, Senior Vice President, Pride Group of Hotels.

The new portfolio includes resorts and hotels in the cities of Nainital, Jim Corbett, Jabalpur, Daman, Rishikesh, Aatapi, Surendranagar, Dwaraka, Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Agra, Somnath, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Neemrana, Rajkot, Bhopal, Aurangabad and Haldwani. The Pride Resort in Aatapi is an amusement park plus a resort located in between Vadodara and Kewadia (famous for the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest monument).
