Germany Welcomes Indian IT Professionals

TMI Group and CD Recruiting, Germany announce a partnership to offer opportunities for Indian IT professionals to live & work in Germany. SpiceJet adds Khajuraho to its Domestic Network 

SpiceJet,  pioneer of the regional connectivity scheme – UDAN, recently announced the addition of Khajuraho – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – to its network as its 15th UDAN destination. The airline will be launching 24 new flights and will be connecting Delhi with Sharjah for the first time on its network. The new domestic and international non-stop flights will commence operations from 18th February, 2022 in a phased manner.

Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia flagged-off SpiceJet’s inaugural flight from Khajuraho to Delhi in the presence of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Khajuraho, Vishnu Datt Sharma,Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Mrs. Usha Padhee and CMD, SpiceJet, Ajay Singh.

The airline will operate flights between Delhi and Khajuraho twice-a-week on Fridays and Sundays. Known for its magnificent temples, Khajuraho attracts tourists not just from other parts of the country but from around the world. The temples in the ancient city are famous for its intricate sculptures and architectural symbolism.

SpiceJet already operates to Gwalior and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The airline connects Jabalpur with Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune whereas the city of Gwalior is connected to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jammu, Kolkata and Mumbai. The addition of Khajuraho to SpiceJet’s network will play a major role in enhancing economic activity while providing a boost to the tourism in the region.

The UDAN fare on Delhi-Khajuraho-Delhi sector will start at INR 3,209 plus taxes.

Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet said, “We are delighted to add Khajuraho to our network as we launch 24 new flights beginning February 18, 2022. Khajuraho, a UNESCO world heritage site which will be our 15th UDAN destination, attracts tourists from all over the world for its rich history of art and culture. SpiceJet will be the only airline connecting Khajuraho with Delhi with a non-stop flight and we are proud to provide the much-needed fillip to boost travel and tourism of this historic city and State.”

 The airline will be connecting Delhi with Sharjah with a non-stop flight, which will operate four-times-a-week.

From March 1st, 2022, SpiceJet will connect Chennai–Jodhpur, Mumbai–Jharsuguda, Mumbai-Tirupati and Varanasi-Dehradun for the first time on its network. The airline will also launch new flights connecting Kolkata-Surat and add additional frequencies on the Pune-Goa, Delhi-Guwahati, Delhi-Jharsuguda, Delhi-Jabalpur and Delhi-Darbhanga sectors.

The airline will be deploying the mix of its Boeing 737 and Q400 aircraft on these routes. Bookings are now open on www.spicejet.com, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.

 India International Travel Mart Evokes Good Response 

 The Kolkata edition of the ‘India International Travel Mart’  held from the 4 – 6 March 2022 was a good success.  The earlier four events held earlier this year in Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad saw a tremendous response from the travel trade fraternity.

 India’s leading travel-media company Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions  organized the ‘India International Travel Mart’ (IITM) in Kolkata from the 04 – 06 March 2022 at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Netaji Indoor Stadium Complex, Kolkata.

 IITM is India’s premier trade exhibition that brings travel, tourism, hospitality, leisure and other related industries under a roof. It is aimed at bringing the industry, face-to-face with the travel trade, corporate buyers and the end-customers. Yogesh Bellani, Former CEO & Director in New Role

 1,00,000th ‘Made-in-India’ car rolls-out of BMW Group Plant Chennai 

Setting a new milestone in its India presence, BMW Group Plant Chennai has rolled out the 1,00,000th car locally produced in the country. A BMW Individual 740Li M Sport Edition has received this special badge.

Vayana  Partner with PCPDA to Offer Financing Program to the Retailers

Vayana Networkone of India’s largest trade finance platform, announced its partnership with Pune Consumer Products Distributor Association (PCPDA). Through this partnership, Vayana Network will offer a last mile retailer financing program to the retailers and the distributors in the region.

Vayana Network’s retailer financing program is designed to address the challenges faced by the distributor and retailer community. Distributors often deal with a mismatch in cashflow, either due to giving credit to retailers or having to make upfront purchases when transacting with corporates. On the other hand, retailers are devoid of access to Supply-chain Financing (SCF) programs.

Vayana Network’s product allows retailers to avail finance for the purchases they make through PCPDA member distributors. Additionally, retailers have the opportunity to be part of formal banking channels and get funds at affordable rates. The product is offered to retailers based on their historical trade data derived using GST returns or the ledger information.
