Dr. Deepak Shikarpur, a distinguished figure with over four decades of experience in the IT sector, has been nominated by the Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT) as a member of its Academic Council. Dr. Shikarpur, renowned for his extensive contributions to digital literacy and authorship of 54 IT-related books, aims to propel PICT’s vision into the contemporary era, aligning it with the tenets of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the evolving landscape of information technology.
