Terrablu; Scaling Climate Solutions for a Carbon-Neutral Future

By A Correspondent

Climate change is no longer an abstract future threat—it’s a lived reality. India, in particular, finds itself at the frontline of its consequences: unpredictable rainfall affecting crops, rising sea levels threatening coastal communities, severe heatwaves crippling cities, and a tangible decline in biodiversity. In this landscape, Terrablu has emerged as a pioneering climate-tech consultancy, offering both hope and action.

At the helm is Pradeep Motwani, CEO and Co-Founder of Terrablu, who brings not only expertise but a deep personal commitment to the cause. “We’re not just here to raise awareness—we’re here to build accessible, affordable, and scalable solutions that every business and citizen can use to make a real impact,” he says.

Pradeep’s journey into climate entrepreneurship wasn’t a planned career pivot but a mission born out of experience and observation. Years of business travel across India exposed him to stark contrasts—urban pollution on one end, vulnerable rural communities on the other. He realized that while businesses were willing to act, they lacked the tools and frameworks to understand and reduce their carbon footprint. That realization seeded Terrablu.

At its core, Terrablu is a consultancy powered by technology. The company offers a robust SaaS-based carbon management platform that plugs into existing enterprise systems via APIs, providing real-time carbon footprint assessments, neutrality strategies, and emission reduction roadmaps. For companies without extensive digital infrastructure, the firm also provides manual support.

Their approach is aligned with globally recognized frameworks such as the GHG Protocol and IPCC, ensuring that clients not only meet regulatory mandates but also enhance their ESG credibility and unlock green finance potential.

What sets Terrablu apart is its balance between high-end technology and hands-on guidance. The company’s advisory board comprises industry veterans like Pitamber Chaudhary (former CEO of CDSL Repository Ltd.), Jagdish Belwal (former CIO of Tata Motors), and Dr. Jai Singh Marwaha (Founder, IIEBM Business School), lending strategic depth to its operations.

The leadership team is equally formidable. Pradeep Motwani, a certified ISO 14001:2015 auditor, leads sales and strategic partnerships. Arshish Maneckji, Co-Founder and CTO, drives platform development with an eye on scalability. Uday Krishna, a subject matter expert with a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, brings grassroots insight and technical rigor. Priya Bahirwani, the fourth Co-Founder, oversees HR, Finance, and Compliance, ensuring operational efficiency across the board.

But Terrablu’s mission isn’t just enterprise-driven—it’s also deeply educational. “We believe every citizen has a role to play in controlling carbon emissions,” says Pradeep. “From switching to energy-efficient appliances to supporting carbon-neutral brands, every action matters.” The company actively collaborates with academic institutions and community organizations to build awareness and inspire behavior change.

To that end, Terrablu has also developed structured sustainability training modules aimed at business students and professionals. These soon-to-be-launched courses will cover climate science, ESG reporting, carbon accounting, and practical implementation strategies—ensuring the next generation of leaders is equipped to drive the green transition.

Looking ahead, Terrablu’s roadmap is ambitious and forward-looking. The company aims to scale its SaaS platform to thousands of organizations by March 2027. Plans are underway to expand into international markets starting July 2025, and a blockchain-enabled marketplace for verified carbon credits is already in development. The firm is also exploring partnerships for nature-based solutions, such as biodiversity forest projects and regenerative agriculture, while simultaneously building advanced tools for regulatory compliance in areas like BRSR and supply chain emissions.

“Our goal is to create systemic change,” says Pradeep. “And that means equipping industries, individuals, and institutions with the right tools, the right mindset, and the right education.”

In a world urgently seeking answers to the climate crisis, Terrablu isn’t just offering answers—it’s creating a blueprint for action.
